Cambridge Crossing Celebrates Grand Opening of Bon Me
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – June 20, 2024 – DivcoWest, the national real estate investment and development team behind the destination neighborhood and innovation hub, Cambridge Crossing (CX), officially welcomed Bon Me to its curated selection of local eateries. Located at 216 Jacobs Street and known for its Asian-inspired dishes, Bon Me CX will be the fifth eatery to join the neighborhood, the ninth brick-and-mortar location for Bon Me in the Boston area, and its first to open post-covid.
"We are thrilled to welcome Bon Me to Cambridge Crossing, adding to the already vibrant and diverse local culinary scene in the neighborhood,” said Dennis O’Donnell, Managing Director at DivcoWest. “We believe that this new addition will not only enhance the offerings for our tenants, residents and visitors, but also contribute to the overall growth and success of the CX neighborhood."
Bon Me Cambridge Crossing introduces a fresh design for the brand’s restaurants including counters and tables made from recycled chopsticks and a giant indoor tree. The eatery continues to offer their beloved bánh mì, rice and noodle bowls and noodle soups. Bon Me is also featuring an expanded bubble tea menu and a new kid's menu for families enjoying the nearby parks and Museum of Science. The menu caters to diverse dietary preferences including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-friendly offerings. Guests visiting Bon Me CX on the first couple days will receive commemorative branded chopsticks (while supplies last).
“CX is the perfect home for our latest location, allowing us to expand our roots within the Cambridge community. We have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with CX through the years with our food trucks, and we're excited to strengthen our presence with a permanent storefront,” said Ali Fong, executive chef and co-founder of Bon Me. “Since we started in 2011, our goal continues to be the same: bringing inventive and wholesome Asian-inspired eats to our patrons. We look forward to welcoming guests to Bon Me at Cambridge Crossing and celebrating this milestone opening.”
Cambridge Crossing’s retail leasing partners, Graffito SP and Vantage Point, facilitated the leasing transaction for the latest Bon Me location. The restaurant is located steps from the Lechmere Green line stop and joins the Cambridge Crossing neighborhood’s other established eateries, including Café Beatrice, Geppetto, The Lexington, Lamplighter Brewing Co., and Tatte Bakery and Café. Later this summer, the neighborhood will welcome another new restaurant, Tap 151 Bar and Grill, a tavern-style restaurant which will be located at the ground level of Park 151, CX's newest multifamily residential building on North First Street.
