The Musical Fence

The Musical Fence, reimagined and created by The Music Pickup Project, is bringing The Common at CX to life through sound! Inspired by Paul Matisse's musical fence installed in front of Cambridge City Hall in 1980, this permanent sound sculpture is a blend of art, science, and community — a combination that's right at home at CX. Don't forget to tag #chimeinatCX and share your pickup music-making!

Winter Lights at CX

There is no better way to get into the festive spirit than to enjoy the beautiful bright lights of the holiday season! The Winter lights at CX, designed by LuminArtz and installed by BRM Production Management provide artfully designed colorful lighting to The Common at CX, the Picnic Grove, and the many pathways through CX. The lights have been taken down for the season, stay tuned for the next installation coming next Winter!
